To Love or Not to Love The Grind

Yes, it's Sunday and this is the last time I'll be posting before I start my routine shift next week.  I know a lot of you hate your jobs.  To some extent we all hate our jobs.  For me, I've always known deep inside that something has to be horribly wrong for anyone to be responsible for something important enough for you to be actually paid.  For example, going to a strip club or having sex with a beautiful woman is everything a man is more than willing to do for free.  Hell, men go to strip clubs and pay for prostitutes thousands of dollars all the time.  Why not have the very same mentality or enthusiasm going to work?  Why do we all have this grumbling, sick feeling of having to work?  Why don't we just instinctively love diving into work as though we're about to have sex?  Perhaps if we were tricked into believing work is the joy and freedom of life as kids, we'd probably be more zealous and happy with our working lives.  With all seriousness, I'm trying to change my attitude and actually work on loving my job by changing my emotional state of mind and internal feelings.  No, it's not easy.  Can you imagine going into a nursing home and seeing old, sick people?  Do you think anyone sane would find enjoyment in a healthcare setting?  It's a difficult place and time to be no matter who the hell you are.  I wish these poor old people could be young and healthy again but that's not happening anytime soon.  Death is just around the corner and everyone knows it's coming.  It's hard to be happy and joyful in such work settings.  Sometimes I just think about what I'm going to be eating for lunch.  No, I just don't go out and eat boring meals.  I want to eat something that will make me happy and melt away all the stress involved working in healthcare.  Old, sick people is not fun but that's where the jobs are.  The very same people are providing jobs for you.  No man is an island.  Businesses are nothing without their customers.  Teachers are nobodies without their students.  Doctors and nurses are no one without their patients.  Such is this way of life.  I believe we have some degree of control over our mood, attitude, and mindset.  We can change for the better.  The people we take care of for business purposes are who they are going to be, but we can change.  We're the ones who can change.  We're the ones in control.  We are the ones who can change our attitudes.  We are the ones in power.  It's such a fundamental concept, but having a positive outlook and attitude towards one's work schedule is so very important.  If you hate your job, start and try to love your job.  There's not going to be much or any other way around it but to change your attitude and mindset.  Start loving what you do no matter what the hell it is.  They say "love the grind", but how can anyone love washing the dishes, cleaning toilets, vacuuming the house, or help bathing old people.  If you try hard enough, you'll be able to start loving what you do.  You'll feel the sweat and the tears that drop from your eyes.  That is when you know you've changed and that you're passionate about what you are doing.

I can continue about a lot of bull tonight, but I want to pinpoint what a lot of us really need and that is to "love the grind".  You must love your job.  Yes, I completely agree that most of us hate our jobs; but we have the power to change our mindset, our attitudes, and our emotions to love what we do.  No, it's not going to be easy.  No, you cannot just turn the television on and rest on the couch.  You need to really be in the zone.  You need to be working and connected through your spirit until sweat drips down your forehead and tears drop from your eyes.  Then, and only then, will you ever understand what it means to be passionate and to love what you do.  Don't believe me?  Sleep on the couch and don't work.  Go ahead and watch television all day and play video games.  I hope it works out for you.  It sounds like a sweet life.  But for most of us, we do need to step outside of the house and actually work.

Although loving the grind is one method, another method is to just not care.  You do a half assed job, go on as many lunch breaks as possible, and go home at the end of the day.  Both methods will get you home at the end of the day.  No one method is right or wrong.  They both work.  Having a combination of the two is great.  In an ideal world, I would love to actually love what I'm doing as a job but sometimes I feel much too tired and don't care whatsoever.  Sometimes I care with a passion and love what I do, and sometimes I really just don't give a flying f*ck.  Both methods work and sometimes it just requires a combination of both to survive.  To be great, you must always love what you do.  Unfortunately, I'm just trying to pay child support at the end of the month and both methods are utilized just for bare necessity survival.  Of course I just wish for more money but that's not how it works!  Don't you think I want my paycheck to say I'm earning more money!?  Who doesn't want that!?  Play the scratch off lottery?  Start a functional youtube channel?  One of these days, I'm going to try!  I'm going to keep positing for the hell of it.  With all that said and done, I'm planning to go back to work tomorrow Monday just like everyone else.

Of course I just wish for more money but that's not how it works!

Thank you for stopping by and reading!  I hope to post for you next time.

Maybe I should Join a Gym?

I should actively seek out and join a gym now that I have the funding from working an actual job.  Nope, I've never paid for a gym membership my whole life up to the age 31.  I have gotten by with free membership trials, Groupon offers, and using whatever was "free".  No, I've never fronted real money directly to a gym.  For example, they had free gyms at school or the club house at my town center.  I've never paid to go to a real gym like an active member.  I wish I had the funding back in the day.  I wish I had the knowledge and experience.  I guess I'm more mature now and know much more about the sciences.  What else is worth my time in this world?  You think chasing nice cars and women is going to cut it for me?  I'm sorry but all those things are fleeting experiences and cost tons of money.  What better use do I have with my time other than to workout and discover my passions?  I enjoy working out and building up my body.  No, I don't want to be a professional body builder.  I just want to be healthy and fit.  It looks like a great and effective idea.  Yes, I've been to many places before and have decided that the gym is fundamentally one of the best things I can do for myself.  I'm not a rocket scientist nor should I pretend to be getting my doctorate in astrophysics.  Keeping myself healthy and fit is worth my time and effort.

More than anything, I'm in search of a gym with a pool.  I get a great workout using the pool except those kinds of places usually cost more.  It maybe more than $100 a month.  $20 a month for a basic gym with weights.  All kinds of gyms try and rip you off.  It's a business, but at the same time I don't want to feel enslaved by a large cooperation.  It's my fun time and having to worry about money constantly is not fun.  That is why I just find free places to workout all the time.  With less stress about money, I just do my thing and leave.  No need to fool around with my wallet and calculate how much I owe who.  Unfortunately, free places often lack a social network and support from others.  You don't get the cool atmosphere or ambiance going to a real gym.  None the less, you do get a workout.

So what do I want?  I don't want to pay money for a gym.  I want to get a workout in, put time into it, drink a protein shake, finish up with a shower, and go home.  I get to keep the money in my pocket.  I can always use the extra money for nutrient and food.  Better food can lead to better health.  So what is more important?  A nice gym full of beautiful people working out or just going all in to somewhere free and eating right?  Unless I'm rich, I would just go to wherever is free so I can save the extra cash for food.  Money for a gym or no money for gym, I need to get my daily exercise in.  For me to continue to keep paying for a gym?  That'll never workout.  Not on my current schedule.  It would be nice once in a while but to just keep dishing out money for an expensive gym just won't work.  I'm just going to keep getting my free workouts.

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

The Titanic Sank - Diversify

Diversification is the solution to solving problems.  If something or someone doesn't work, select another.  Remember, diversification is key.  If you put all your eggs in one basket you're screwed!  If the Titanic sinks, you're done for.  No one thought the Titanic would ever sink.  They put all their time and money into this massive wonderful ship and thought that God himself couldn't destroy it.  We've all see the movie with Leonardo and it sank after hitting an unseen iceberg.  Problems happen and that is why you need to diversify.  As for me, I'm sitting here because there's a serious problem.  My work machine is down.  Hopefully, the company I work for has other people employed who can do the dirty work.  Do I care about getting my fare share of work done?  Yes, I do care.  I do want to work, and I do want to get things done.  Unfortunately, my machine is down.  If I'm not working, someone else will be doing the work for me.  Ultimately, I do not get paid for today.  If I do not work; I do not get paid.  If I do not work; the work will go to someone else.  If I do not work; my pay will go to someone else.  Yes, there are times where money doesn't mean much.  Fortunately enough, I'm not as desperate for the money at this time.  I don't like being desperate for money, but it does motivate and make people actually want to work!  None the less, I could use the day off.  Thank God, they haven't been sending me more orders.  I did communicate to my company clearly that my machine is done.  They are spending the time and money to get my machine fixed as fast as possible.  The technology company is even sending a replacement machine in the meantime for me to send the broken one back to them to get it repaired.  No, it's not cheap.  Yes, it costs thousands of dollars to fix.  Healthcare companies cannot be cheap.  Medical equipment and technology is and always has been expensive.  Fortunately, they are willing to spend the dough.  If you're fixing problems there's plenty of money to be made.  THEY WILL PAY YOU IF YOU CAN FIX PROBLEMS.

Solving problems is an important life skill.  Just pay the professionals to get things fixed.  Just be sure to have a lot of money and/or insurance.  Expensive things can stop working all the sudden.  "I fixed it" is something that will earn you dividends.  Well, there's no job for me today.  My machine is broken.  My company is willing to pay someone else to get it fixed.  Thank God, they're even smart enough to send a replacement.  Yes, it's just a matter of throwing money at them.  Yes, these machines and equipment are expensive as all hell.  It's not my money.  It's not my boss's money.  It's the business owner's money!  Do they care?  Do millionaire business owners and lawyers care if they lost $20,000 in one day?  What is $20,000 to a multi million dollar healthcare business?   I have no clue.  I'm just a virtual homeless guy.  I wouldn't be the one who cared.  If I was the business owner  I'd just pay down that $20,000; get the machine fixed as quick as possible; and continue the business.  Spending money to get your equipment fixed as fast as possible solves big problems, optimizes the business, and will help satisfy your customers faster.  On the opposite end, they could cheap out on fixing the machine and firing me.  Being cheap and getting the machine fixed by local repair men can be a temporary solution.  Yes, it can work but may lead to further problems in the future if not done by the professionals.  Pay more to get the job fixed the first time around.

So why not just fire me for the machine failing?  Well, it would take the boss more time to find a replacement.  I already have tons of hours of experience.  I've been trained.  I live nearby the customers.  I know what I'm doing.  It took a lot of time for me to be where I am.  There are not a lot of identical people like me out there with the same skill sets, knowledge, and experience.  Not a lot of people like driving, not a lot of people are willing to wheel around a large machine, not a lot of people are willing to help out sick old people, not a lot of people have the patients or time; not a lot of people want to work; not  a lot of people are willing to go out and do the actual work.  Hell, a lot of people don't even want to go to school.  How the hell will they ever go out and work for a living?  For money?  It won't last very long.  I'm surprised I've lasted this long thus far.  I'm just desperate to work.  I don't have any special interest or genius in any particular field; I just run off of 100% human desperation for survival!  As one can see, firing me is not a viable solution to anything.

I'm here in my room.  It's fun.  I'm not officially working.  I'm off for now.  I'm not on the road.  I'm not visiting patients.  I'm not attending the needs of others.  I'm just in my house.  I'm drinking and eating.  I'm playing on my computer.  I'm watching youtube videos.  I'm enjoying life.  I'm taking my time off.  I'm writing and blogging.  I'm having a good time.   When I'm out on the job, all hell breaks loose.  I'm enjoying my time here.  I like blogging.  I like my audience.  I feel bad that my company has to spend the extra time and money to repair my machine but that's all apart of the business.  If you don't get things fixed and paid for, nothing will get done. When it comes to making your customers happy in any business model, you have to pay to win!    You have to pay to win!  I cannot emphasize this enough.  No, you cannot cheap out on everything.  Spend the extra money and/or time to make your customers happy.  It will ultimately pay you back in dividends.  Does my company care about spending more money?  Does my boss care about spending more money?  If you're willing to call me and send me out to work in a freaking blizzard than the answer is simply "F*ck no".  They will spend the money!  They will call me in a storm storm to work!  They will be responsible for their actions!  Yes, they will be the ones spending the money!  Not me, I'm just the employee.  Thank God, I haven't received a call to work today.  Will it bite me in the ass later?  Yes, I will probably have to answer all these crazy questions.  I've already answers a lot of crazy questions and put on a neutral face.  It's important that I don't start freaking out or start pointing the finger and blaming everyone else.  None the less, we're all working towards a solution to fix the problem day in/day out.  Thank for reading!  I hope you all have a safe and fun day!

Snow Storm! Yes, I Had to Work

Well, how sick does a patient need to be for everyone to be still working?  My company called me up and said I had to work.  There exists 2 feet of snow outside.  No one did the sidewalks, driveways, or roads.  You want me to work?  Excuse me!?  What the f*ck doesn't even begin to describe the sh*t storm brewing.  I was convinced to go out and work on behalf of being paid more.  As much as it sucked, I went out and started working.  I shoveled the car out and did whatever I had to do.  No, it was not fun.  Yes, it required a lot of strength and shoveling back and forth.  I guess I should invest in a flame thrower except people would complain about the potential harmful chemicals that spew out from it.  As the day went on, the snow slowly began to deteriorate.  I stared work at 2:00 PM and did my thing.  When I got to the nursing station, they told me that the patient was even there.  They were too busy doing dialysis.  I told them I didn't want to be rude and just gave them the phone to speak with my company.  I was about to karate chop the nurse, but what would that have done?  Would punching people in the face every time I got mad do any good?  Nope, not at all.  More people just get hurt, more people come and get involved, and even more annoying people have to deal with the legal issues.  All you have to do is "Block it and walk away".  In any event, they just moved the schedule to tomorrow.  How f*cked up do you need to be to have a need for a x-ray in the middle or even right after a snowstorm and on top of that dialysis?  When is enough, enough?  There's no limit to the amount of feeding tubes, blood test, urine test, specimen test, fecal matter test, etc. that can save you!  When your body gives way in old age, you're going to die.  Just let life go for God sake.

Unfortunately, life and death does not work like that.  People continue to live on regardless.  The healthcare industry is happy that it's in business making money, poor employees have a job, and grandma/grandpa is still alive.  When I reached the facility there remained nurses running all over the place trying to take care of the patients.  It's not fair to them that they're always over worked.  You leave those poor nurses alone.  They have enough crap to worry about.  Do you think the patients care?  Hell no.  All patients do is stack more and more work on top of the nurses.  After some point in time, I can only imagine how nurses just don't care anymore and just do their job like robots.  I don't blame them.  People dumping their sh*t on you so that you can fix it is never fun.  No way in hell would I ever be a nurse.  If it was between homeless or nurse, I'd rather be a homeless.  Not everyone can be a nurse nor should anyone ever pressure someone else to go to nursing school.  You can't have some jerk taking care of people.  It's just not the right career path.  Taking care of people and/or baby sitting elderly people is the last thing I'd want to do with my time.

What a crazy day.  I can't believe people need x-rays and nursing in the mist of a storm storm.  I can't fathom how bad your health must be to need so much attention when everyone is just trying to stay safe indoors.  You must be really f*cked up to need that much professional medical attention.  Why even bother for anyone to even come?  Especially for the elderly?  It's not like there's much left down the road for them anyways.  Why even bother?  Quite frankly, you can pull the plug on me when I reach that age.  I know I won't care.  I'll save everyone else's time.  Just pull the plug and let me go fast.  Hell, there won't be anything for me to worry about anymore.  Death is life's answer and solution to many things wrong with the world.  May God have mercy on your poor soul.

Thank you for reading!  I hope I don't get called in on my days off anymore.  I don't like it.  No one likes it.  No one understands.  I know I don't understand.  Yes, we're just in it for the money.  I'm not sure if anyone really cares.  At the heart of it, it's about the money.

On My First Day Off I Had to Work

Yes, today was my first day off after working four days straight and guess what?  That's right kids, I had to work!  Thank God, I rarely ever have to work and go to school all in the same schedule.  That would really suck.  Let me tell you something:  I would rather be arrested for not paying child support than have to work and go to school all the same day on a continuous, rigorous basis.  Quite frankly, I would collapse under pressure and stress.  There's no one in hell can someone like me handle the work load of both school and work.  I'd rather just go to work and collect my paychecks than to sit around some waste of time school for college credit and a piece of paper that says "Diploma".  I'm far beyond the point of recognizing that a diploma is just a piece of paper.  You need real world and life skills to survive day to day.  A piece of paper of any kind, way, shape, or form is not going to cut it.  Yes, it does look fancy but guess what?  No one really gives a crap anymore.  It may have worked years ago, but now everyone has one.  The market is over saturated with all of these cookie cutter degrees that no one knows what the hell they're doing in the field.  All these people are good for is nothing.  Get college degrees and pass?  What can you do to make money!?  Who the hell cares about your freaking degree if you can't make yourself or anyone who hires you money!  Shut the hell up with your "college degree" and rake in the money.

If the boss calls you in for work it isn't to screw around and show off how smart you are.  Actual work needs to be done because money is to be made.  Whatever service or product you are providing is wanted by someone out there in the cold, harsh world on Earth.  I may not be the brightest light bulb in the factory, but I can sure as hell tell you that prancing around with your college degree isn't going to get you very far.  Employers want you to work.  Your customers want something from you.  I sure as hell don't think they want to cross your name off your college degree and write their name on it.

Unless you are a millionaire, you don't have to work.  The hell with working, just hire someone to do whatever it is you want done.  Well, that is my 2 cents for the day.  Work the whole week and continue to work on your days off until you feel like you're going to drop dead.  I'm pretty sure that sums up life for most adults living in America today.  Yes, I am tired.  Yes, I'm going to bed soon after.  Thank you for stopping by and reading!  I hope to post something more creative next time!

Paycheck Player

Well, here's my first biggest paycheck that came in this year of 2016.  Technically, I worked at the end of December 2015 and just received it now.  None the less, at about $20; 40 hours a week, a normal person would make around $2000 before taxes.  When the Uncle Sam breaks down the door and grabs his share, they take about 1/3 of what you make.  Hell, I even have to pay both New Jersey and New York taxes.  I have to pay taxes to a state I don't even live in.  I only frequent New York a few times a month.  These numbers do not lie.  So I have a total of $2039.75 minus $600.54 in taxes, which equals a grand total of $1439.21 I get to take home put in my pocket.  Technically, I should be making $4000 a month except when the taxes hit; I only take home a little less than $3000.  Yup, that's what I learned from my history teacher in high school.   You only get to take home 3 days of the 5 total days you work, so 2 days of work goes straight to the government's enormous, endless bank account.  Yes, taxes do suck; but this is a far greater improvement than my last set of jobs.  I use to only bring home $400 - $700 a biweekly paycheck.  Now, I am safe to say I bring home a minimum of $1000 a biweekly paycheck.  No matter what kind of work you do or get yourself into, it's going to rub you the wrong way.  There's no such thing as a free lunch.  "Work" is labeled as such, because well . . . no one would be doing whatever it is unless they're being compensated for it.  It's hard to find someone who loves what they do and actually get paid for it.  Believe me, everyone here would be doing what they love for money.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of hurdles and obstacles to jump before reaching those marks.  In no way, shape, or form is it ever easy for just about anyone.  Yes, we all wish we were millionaires but that's not how life works.  You must do whatever it is and push through just to survive.  Life is the best teacher.  If you don't know, you will learn.  Life will teach you.

With all that said and done, I am tired for the day.  I work 4 days a week.  I get the 3 day weekend off.  I've contributed enough to society nor do I wish to continue to care any more further than I already do at this moment in time.  I've seen way too much for my young eyes to handle nor do I want to expose myself to anymore.  Do this or be that!?  You have to be kidding!  I'm tired.  I'm going to bed.  I don't want to hear it.  Save that for a generation that has money growing on trees.

Thank you for dropping by and reading my material.  I hope to post next time!

Just Another Fat Day

Hello, it's me again.  No, it's not Bruce Lee.  It's me the homeless guy.  I'm just blogging after taking it up the ass with a week full of 10 hour shifts for four days straight.  I average a little bit over 40 hours of work a week, which is pretty good in the world of normal people.  I took the time today to check myself in the mirror to see if I was following up on taking care of myself.  I go to the gym every chance I get.  No, I'm not super enthusiastic about going to the gym all the time.  I would imagine that most people hate going to the gym, especially America.  I use motivation music and videos to inspire me to get myself to the gym when I have the time.  No, it's not easy and it's a healthy habit that everyone should partake in no matter who you are, rich or poor.  Your attitude and way of thinking will set you apart from the rest.  If you want to laze on the couch and watch television all day that's perfectly all up to you.  I have chosen to improve myself in whatever ways possible or at least try and maintain my health up so I don't get easily sick or succumb to disease when the weather changes or whatnot.  Don't you hate it when you start coughing uncontrollably?  I know I do.  That's another good benefit of working out:  You give your immune system a boost.  If you follow the formula and do the work, you'll see results!  If you keep bullshitting and opening your mouth and blaming everyone else, guess what?  It doesn't work like that!  YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK!  Much like everything else in life if you do the work, you'll get results.  There's no way around it.  If you don't do shit, guess what?  You won't change, and you won't get results; nothing happens.  Everything just stays like stagnant water if you don't change your mind.

Well, what now from here?  I want to make my own action video or some sorts or die trying.  I want to learn how to edit stuff like explosions, gun fire, and different background drops.  I have some free software lying around on my computer.  I want to learn how to use it.  Yes, it's a ton of work and micromanagement.  By no means is it as easy as 1,2,3.  You need to know what you're doing to a certain extent or at least watch some tutorials.  It's not as intuitive and as easy going as one might think.  A lot of time and practice needs to go into your video content and editing skills.  If it's not done right, it'll look cheesy.  That is unless you really don't care.  You see kids, you have to care about your work to go anywhere with it.  Instead of selecting a career path that just leads to money, you really need to care about a company's mission statement.  As for me, I want to make a film.  Guess what?  A lot of people do and rarely ever succeed, because it's hard.  So the next best thing is just to start a youtube channel going.  Do I think I can do it?  Yes, do "I" think I can do it.  It's no one else's responsibility in this world but mine to make my own God damn footage.  It's my project.  No one else would care unless I start making shit happen.  With all the elements in place, a plan of action, work can begin.  If all else fails, guess what!?  You plop down on the couch and watch TV like you don't give a flying f*ck.

I'm about to not care anymore.  I would like to care more and be more ambitious, but I never seem to come around filming any great scenes just to play around with the editing.  I guess tomorrow is a new day.  Hell, this blog maybe the most action you'll ever see of my true work.  Everything else I do is just imagined or doesn't exist in real life in any extent.  Until the day comes when I'm prepared to start creating works of my own, I will be waiting.  I will be keeping my eye on a brand new action cam with quality specs.  I will be writing and rewriting my script.  I will keep my eye on the ball rolling.  My real work schedule is at it again next week starting Monday through Thursday.  My job is to just follow through and spend the time taking x-rays for my patients.  It's simple enough that I can do.  I'm lucky if I can just keep up with my job.  Who knows if I can ever establish a firm grasp of creating my own work and have it displayed on youtube?  It takes time, energy, care, learning new skills, and not giving a crap what anyone else thinks.  The ball is in my court.  Should I decide to be a lazy bum, so be it.

Thanks for reading!  I hope I really do something about creating more creative content, video, and/or music.  Hell, create my own song!?   I sure have a looooooooooooong way to go.

Happy Birthday to Me

"Solomon have you gotten fatter?"  "Yes, I have" for which I replied.  Well, it's my 31st birthday.  I had a small gathering with my family.  Everyone was alive and functioning.  No, things were not picture perfect but we enjoyed being at the restaurant for whatever little time we had together.  What makes me happy the most is making my own films, books, or music.  I have done none of those things in my life.  I like being creative.  It's my goal to produce at least something for next year.  I care much less about what people think about me.  I like creating things.  I like the photos I take.  I like the blog posts I write about.  I like making things and attaching my name on it, because it's mine.  It's my work of art, and I'm proud of it.  Yes, it's open and out there for anyone to judge but that's none of my business.  I'm just the artist.  I'm the producer.  Yes, people will say whatever they want.  My job is not to react and keep going with my work.  It's something you have to pickup and learn real fast or the negative/positive comments will go straight to your head and blowup like a balloon.  "No ego" is something my aunt told me when I was young when explaining to me how so many actors became so famous.  "They have no ego".  If you don't have an ego, you allow yourself to do whatever it is that'll eventually get you paid.  It's not shallow or filled with pride; it's just matter of business and how people get things done.  If you're too egotistical and arrogant, you'll never get anything done.

In any event, I'm a real x-ray technician.  Like a photographer or cinematographer, I roll a machine around and take pictures.  It's much easier to land a job in the healthcare sector and there's always plenty of sick people around to work for.  Anything else may have complicated me to the point of no return.  I always had a low budget and things just wouldn't have worked out economically otherwise.  You need a lot of money if you want to do something big.  Healthcare?  Well, people are always getting sick.  Yes, sick people will pay whatever for you to help them.  They'll pay the doctors and nurses who'll pay you to take their patients' x-rays.  Long story short, I need a job.  Hell, money doesn't grow off of trees.  I need to do whatever to survive just like everyone else.

About turning 31, it happens.  You can't be 5 years old forever.  You can't be in middle school forever.  You can't be in high school forever.  You eventually grow up; or just get older and creepier.  Welcome to being human.  If you're not getting older; you're dead.  "I found a job" that's basically what it comes down to.  I'm not sure if I ever cared about anything else.  I cared about girls before, but I also understand that doesn't lead anywhere unless the man in the relationship has money.  You need money.  What do you want me to tell you?  What it boils down to is simple:  No money; no honey.  Student loans?  I never believed in trapping myself in student loans.  I will also never be a lawyer and/or doctor because of it and that's okay too.  I can only handle so much as a person anyways.  I'm probably much happier and better off being a simple minded x-ray tech.  No, I don't want to worry about medical malpractice lawsuits.  No, I don't want to read 1000 page books each night.  No, no, and no.  You can go ahead and make your millions of dollars without me.  I just want to be able to work without having the stress of a stroke and/or heart attack and still go home at night to sleep with money in the bank.  I don't like the drama people bring to the table.  I do my job and that's it.  Yes, knowing people and networking is important; but someone like me can only handle so much.

Well, I do have some youtube videos and pictures of me floating somewhere around cyberspace.  I guess that's something.  Still, I want to make a product that doesn't suck.  Who knows when I turn the tide around?  Will I always just be a homeless?  Do I not have enough on the table?  Am I rich right now?  Hell, no.  I guess I just have to keep finding my thing and make a video out of it or something.  I'm pretty much a normal guy in everyday America.  I wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, go out and work, and come back home to eat dinner and sleep.  There doesn't seem to be much time for anything else like shoot a badass film, record a killer song, or practice playing the air guitar.  Where did my life go wrong?  I guess I should just be happy with what I have, but I still feel the need to GO ALL OUT AND FUCKING DO SOMETHING BIG!  I just want to be somebody, other than the school janitor, so bad.  I WANT IT ALL!  I DON'T WANT TO BE ANOTHER JOHN DOE.  But yes, this is real life and there are a lot of people out there just trying to stay alive.  Stay humble or go all out and die trying to hit it big time!?

Thanks for tuning in!

This week was actually different. I went to a Korean spa.  It was an absolutely amazing experience but at a cost.  Although you can grab some cheap ticket prices off of Groupon, they normally charge $45 per person for 24 hours.  So when you get in they give you everything except for protective feet measurements.  I saw one old man wearing sandals you get from Chinatown.  Everyone else was barefoot.  They enforce all kinds of laws and rituals at all times.  Yes, a portly Asian man will confront you if you doing anything outside Korean tradition.  I saw a customer casually walk around the men's sauna who was immediately stopped to get undressed.  You are not allowed to wear anything in the men's hot tub area.  Yes, there I was butt naked with everyone else.  Being the most uptight and law abiding than most places, I had to walk barefoot and butt naked through the men's section.  They have 2 hot tubs, a refrigerator like cold pool, a steam room, sauna, and showers.  Outside in the common area where it's open to both sexes, there are the hot sauna rooms.  Each room has a unique design and theme to it.  There's a pyramid room made out of 23 karate gold that's all Ancient Egypt.  There's two or three different gem rooms made out of amethyst and green emerald.  They like to use a lot of green and purple rock.  There's 2 different salt rooms.  Some of the rooms are shaped in the image of an igloo and are made of of dry Earth.  Aside from the hot rooms, there's only one ice room.  To top it off there's one super hot volcano room.  You have to protect yourself with the extra padded cloths they provide you.  You'll see people jumping in and out all the time simply because it's too hot.

Aside from lying down and letting time pass, there's a juice bar and restaurant inside as well.  They make Korean food of course.  They have different assorted rice dishes, kimchi.  The people there are happy and relaxing.  A typical dish is about $15.  A drink is $5.  I enjoyed my Korean curry rice dish.  I could have eaten much more but things cost money as usual.  I always seem to be on a budget even if someone else is inviting me.  Yes, I eat a lot.  There are tons of different dishes to select.  They even have udon noodles.  So this is what rich people must be doing while I'm off working like a slave in the ghettos?

Well, I had a wonderful time at the Korean spa.  Things cost money but are not insanely expensive.  Be prepared to spend money on food and drink.  I dunked myself in both hot and cold tubs.  I sweat out as much toxins as I could.  I felt that the salt room(s) were more effective than any of the other rooms.  Sweat was just perfusing out of my skin.  All was well in the kingdom except the barefoot thing.  They only sell socks for $2.  Yes, $2 socks is all that you can protect your feet with.  They claim that their facility is so clean that you can walk around barefoot.  From a medical perspective, I'm afraid that ring worm, foot fungus, athletes foot, and all kinds of other crazy crap can get your foot infected no matter how clean you think your place is.  When people are coming in and out, you never know who has what.  Of course, they would feel offended if you wore sandals or any other kind of protection for your feet inside.  Well, their culture and belief system is overpowering my medical and health safety practices.  None the less, they always have internet and computers lying around here and there.  They even have quiet rooms and places for people to chill.  Rumors have it that it's actually cheaper to stay there overnight than it is to pay for a hotel.  So you see a lot of random people sleeping in dark rooms.  No homeless people allowed.  But if you must know it costs $2500 for a yearly pass and the place is opened 24/7.  So can you live there like it's your home?   In theory you can live there as if it is your home.  The only thing you'd have to keep an eye on is food.  You get your own locker, you get clothes provided for you, internet, computers, lights, television, etc.  I don't understand why more people aren't doing this!  Hell, you can homeless in here if you want to for just one low prices of $2500 a year!?  The staff that is inside does all the work including laundry, utilities, cleaning, food, water, electricity, gas, heat, air conditioning, etc.  This place is even more awesome than your home!  I would definitely like to homeless here if there were more like this nearby.  There's only like 1 or 2 of these in New Jersey.  I highly recommend checking a Korean spa out.  Just know that they enforce tradition and rules all the time and to bring extra socks.

Thank you for reading!  I sure enjoyed my time at the spa.  I couldn't ask for more for the day.  I would live like a king if I didn't have to work or do chores but this is real life.  Good luck to whoever wins the lottery tomorrow!

Too Much is Not Enough

Having a job, eating out, not having to pay ridiculous amounts of rent?  What else can a person ask for.  I always feel like I want extra time off to be a homeless, but at the same time I know I need to work as well.  Am I just asking for too much out of life?  Sleeping excessively, eating, and just pleasuring one's self on one's free time is perfectly normal to me.  I don't know why people have to be all Nazi Germany about working 24/7 every single 365 days of the year.  The best answer I've ever got from my family was "You have to be a leader".  Leadership is an important attribute as to not being an eternal homeless.  You need to be able to not only lead yourself but show others that you're a team player.  Here we are on a Sunday after New Years, and I'm already preparing to go back to work tomorrow.  No, it's never easy to face the music.  You have to do what you have to do.

Winning the lottery?  Having Hollywood acting skills?  Singing on Broadway?  Being ridiculously good looking?  Is this why we turn to religion for guidance?  We always crave something that is out of our reach.  All we can do as man is work harder and play it smart.  Stay humble; know humiliation for everything can be gone tomorrow.

I can't give you money but what I can do is emphasize on the importance of appreciating what you have and showing gratitude.  When your spirit and mood is aligned properly with the joy and recreation of life, you'll feel a lot more happy.  Having a positive outlook and being happy is important to me as well as any other average Joe.  I hope to continue living as a responsible person,  Being a homeless, sleeping all day, or just general lethargy is not the way to go all out.  I have work tomorrow morning.  It will be cold.  It will be windy.  Hell, it may even be snowing.  Instead of collapsing in despair or complaining about it, I'm prepared to venture out in the world.  With a positive attitude and mindset, I hope my work week goes well.  I now know better to follow the rules and regulations.  Taking short cuts or cheating or cutting corners will only bite me in the ass down the road.  Leave no stones unturned.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!  I hope 2016 will be an awesome year!
