On My First Day Off I Had to Work

Yes, today was my first day off after working four days straight and guess what?  That's right kids, I had to work!  Thank God, I rarely ever have to work and go to school all in the same schedule.  That would really suck.  Let me tell you something:  I would rather be arrested for not paying child support than have to work and go to school all the same day on a continuous, rigorous basis.  Quite frankly, I would collapse under pressure and stress.  There's no one in hell can someone like me handle the work load of both school and work.  I'd rather just go to work and collect my paychecks than to sit around some waste of time school for college credit and a piece of paper that says "Diploma".  I'm far beyond the point of recognizing that a diploma is just a piece of paper.  You need real world and life skills to survive day to day.  A piece of paper of any kind, way, shape, or form is not going to cut it.  Yes, it does look fancy but guess what?  No one really gives a crap anymore.  It may have worked years ago, but now everyone has one.  The market is over saturated with all of these cookie cutter degrees that no one knows what the hell they're doing in the field.  All these people are good for is nothing.  Get college degrees and pass?  What can you do to make money!?  Who the hell cares about your freaking degree if you can't make yourself or anyone who hires you money!  Shut the hell up with your "college degree" and rake in the money.

If the boss calls you in for work it isn't to screw around and show off how smart you are.  Actual work needs to be done because money is to be made.  Whatever service or product you are providing is wanted by someone out there in the cold, harsh world on Earth.  I may not be the brightest light bulb in the factory, but I can sure as hell tell you that prancing around with your college degree isn't going to get you very far.  Employers want you to work.  Your customers want something from you.  I sure as hell don't think they want to cross your name off your college degree and write their name on it.

Unless you are a millionaire, you don't have to work.  The hell with working, just hire someone to do whatever it is you want done.  Well, that is my 2 cents for the day.  Work the whole week and continue to work on your days off until you feel like you're going to drop dead.  I'm pretty sure that sums up life for most adults living in America today.  Yes, I am tired.  Yes, I'm going to bed soon after.  Thank you for stopping by and reading!  I hope to post something more creative next time!
